Your data is encrypted on your device using a key derived from your password before being sent to our servers. We never receive your password or encryption key, making it mathematically impossible for us (or anyone who breaches our servers) to read your data.
Because we use true zero-knowledge encryption, we cannot recover your password or data. We strongly recommend using a password manager and enabling our recovery key feature, which lets you generate a backup key stored securely offline.
Yes! You can invite family members to shared workspaces. Each member has their own password, and we use public-key cryptography to securely share the workspace encryption key without ever exposing it to our servers.
